Announcing the 7th Annual South Carolina Cornbread Festival presented by North Columbia Business Association in partnership with the City of Columbia, Richland County, Woodforest National Bank and numerous community businesses and organizations throughout the Columbia area. The event is Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 11am-6pm at 2024 Main St, Columbia, SC 29201
The event will feature an entire day of entertainment, food, fun for every family member, Visitor and every community! The kids will love the Corn Muffin Play land and with FREE carnival rides, plus bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, karaoke, lots of mascots, their own DJ, and more!
The Cornbread Classic Corn Hole Tournament will return as one of the festival highlights with competitors from across the country. Of course it wouldn’t be the South Carolina Cornbread Festival without the Cornbread Cook Off, Cornbread Eating Contest, Cornbread Alley, and crafty vendors and great food trucks
The South Carolina Cornbread Festival benefits the Buddy & Benjamin Literacy program and the North Columbia Revitalization Project. NCBA Executive Director Sabrina Odom states: “The South Carolina Cornbread Festival has a vital purpose which is to help build up the CHILDREN of our community as well as existing and new BUSINESSES in our community. If we continue to come together to support the festival and each other, we can make a difference for both!”
